Archant Lifestyle launches 34 magazines on Kindle Fire

Archant Lifestyle has launched 34 of its magazine titles onto the Amazon Kindle Fireplatform. The launch is part of a large scale plan to expand digital audiences and increase exposure of Archant titles across multiple digital platforms.

With the Kindle Fire tablet range now on its third generation of devices and with the recent announcement of the Fire smartphone (set to launch in the US later this month), this is a key market to expand into, says Archant.

The 34 titles launched include 18 Archant Specialist magazine titles, 14 Archant Lifecounty magazines along with two magazine titles from Archant South West.

“We have seen great success with titles such as Pilot, Professional Photographer and TheEnglish Home through our existing digital offerings and it makes perfect sense to make titles like these available on as many platforms as we can,” says Chris Scarle, Digital Magazines Manager for Archant Lifestyle.

“Kindle Fire brings us an audience that is used to consuming media digitally, which is a great opportunity for us and the perfect market for our magazines.”

The launch sees a custom designed app format featuring new functionality and designed to improve user experience. This new format will drive the redesign of existing iOS and Android apps throughout the Lifestyle portfolio.

All titles can be found on the Amazon Appstore and are available for all Kindle Fire devices.
