Buxton Press installs third new Heidelberg

Buxton Press has installed its third new Heidelberg XL-106 long perfecting press.

Buxton’s new ten-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster XL-106 long perfecting press has now been commissioned and is already hard at work, says the company.

Part of the company’s on-going £20 million re-equipping programme, this latest addition to the fleet - their third XL-106 in just under two years, complete with CutStar reel-sheeter, Inpress Control and Autoplate XL simultaneous plate changing - reinforces Buxton’s position as having one of the most efficient and modern installations of long-perfecting magazine printing presses in the UK.

MD, Kirk Galloway says, “It’s a really exciting time for Buxton Press. The additional ten colour Speedmaster XL-106 technology will allow us to both open up interesting opportunities in our sector and fast forward our growth plans and in the process expand our customer base and the range of services we can offer.”
