First Official ABC Figures Released for Metro’s iPad and iPhone Editions

Metro’s iPad and iPhone editions are now being audited by the ABC. The iPad editions (morning and evening) have 20,927 publication active views and the iPhone 11,761. The combined figure stands at 32,688 every day.

Metro says: Metro’s digital editions are designed to keep users updated throughout the day. The morning edition covers the best of Metro’s agenda setting content and the evening edition covers a fresh roundup of tailored news and entertainment.

Both products are popular with consumers with strong levels of engagement and are highly rated by users in the App store. The iPad edition has a 4.5 star rating and the iPhone 4 star. Metro’s iPad has the highest rating of all national newspaper editions.

The iPad morning edition has an impressive 1m page views every day demonstrating that users are viewing the majority of content in each edition. A wide range of advertisers are on board including O2, Rimmel London, Cannon, Nissan and Channel 4.
