Launch: Real Life Bugs & Insects

Real Life Bugs & Insects, a new weekly partwork from RBA Coleccionables, goes on sale 27 August, a special promotional rate of 99p. It is, say the publishers, the “relaunch of a popular collection for a new generation of readers”.

According to distributors COMAG: “Educational and fun, Real Life Bugs & Insects is an exciting partwork, which allows children to collect the most exceptional insects, arachnids and other arthropods.

Endorsed and supported by the National History Museum and National Geographic, every issue of Real Life Bugs & Insects has a spectacular specimen of an insect, arachnid, or arthropod, perfectly preserved in a unique plastic resin, allowing full examination of the contents from any angle.

Aimed primarily at children, especially boys, Real Life Bugs & Insects is for anyone with an interest in animals, nature and science of all kinds, who want to learn about the world around them.

As well as the animal itself, each issue of Real Life Bugs & Insects will have a magazine full of information, facts and photos for readers to discover all of the secrets about the featured species.

Looking at the featured creature’s characteristics and habits, the magazine will explore where they come from, how they live, their constant fight for survival and just how dangerous they really are!

The bugs in the Real Life Bugs & Insects collection have been carefully chosen by a team of experts keen to share their knowledge about some of the most exceptional and fascinating insects, arachnids and mini-beasts found around the world, none of which is on the endangered species list.
