MailOnline achieves its best ever day for traffic

The MailOnline recorded its best ever day for traffic last month, as more than 14.3 million Global Daily Unique Visitors accessed its Website and Apps on the 2nd September 2014.

There were 14,343,995 Global Daily Unique Visitors to the MailOnline’s Website and Apps on the 2nd September, an increase of 55,276 on the previous record set in December 2013, says MailOnline.

This contributed to the MailOnline achieving its best ever month for Global Average Daily Unique Visitors in September 2014.

There were 11,792,392 Global Average Daily Unique Visitors across the Website and Apps last month, an increase of 4.0% month-on-month and represents growth of 24.3% year-on-year.

According to figures released yesterday by ABC, the MailOnline also recorded 184.3 million Global Monthly Unique Visitors in September 2014.

There were 184,322,265 Global Monthly Unique Visitors to the MailOnline’s Website and Apps last month, representing an increase of 2.7% on August 2014, and an increase of 26.0% on September last year.

The MailOnline also achieved more than 50 million Global Video Views for the third month in succession, increasing by 60.4% year-on-year.

In the UK, the MailOnline achieved 57.8 million Monthly Unique Visitors in September 2014, representing an increase of 4.8% on August 2014, and a year-on-year increase of 23.3%.

There were also 4.8 million Average Daily Unique Visitors in the UK in September 2014. This represents monthly growth of 6.4% and is 19.9% higher than September last year.

The MailOnline’s iPhone and Android Apps both achieved new records for Global Average Daily Unique Visitors in September 2014, with 576 thousand and 377 thousand unique visitors each day on average, respectively.

The MailOnline iPhone App also achieved its best ever month for Global Monthly Unique Visitors as it surpassed 1.2 million for the first time ever. There were 1,209,363 Global Monthly Unique Visitors in September, which is growth of 6.7% month-on-month and 21.5% year-on-year.
