MailOnline records its best ever month for Video

The MailOnline recorded its best ever month for video in July 2014 as it achieved more than 50 million video views across its website and apps for the first time.

MailOnline says: There were 50,647,444 Global Video Views to the MailOnline last month, representing a month-on-month increase of 35.8% and a year-on-year increase of 74.7%.

Hence, there was an average of 1.6 million Video Views every day in July 2014, globally. This was aided by three days which achieved more than 2.5 million Video Views each.

According to figures released today by ABC, the MailOnline recorded 174.5 million Global Monthly Unique Visitors across its website and apps last month.

There were 174,579,268 Global Monthly Unique Visitors to the Website, iPhone, iPad and Android Apps in July 2014, representing year-on-year growth of 30.0% and month-on-month growth of 3.8%.

The MailOnline also recorded 11,039,330 Global Average Daily Unique Visitors in July 2014, an increase of 1.2% on June 2014 and growth of 25.1% on July last year.

In the UK, the MailOnline achieved 53.7 million Monthly Unique Visitors in July 2014. This represents an increase of 0.9% on June 2014, and a yearly increase of 22.2%.

There were also 4.49 million Average Daily Unique Visitors in the UK in July 2014, which is 18.2% higher than July 2013.

The MailOnline Android App achieved new Global records for both Monthly and Average Daily Unique Visitors in July 2014.

Globally, there were 842,779 Monthly Unique Visitors and 362,087 Average Daily Unique Visitors to the Android App in July, representing year-on-year growth of 31.8% and 44.8% respectively.

The MailOnline’s iPhone App recorded its second best month ever for Global Monthly Unique Visitors as there were 1.09 million users last month, growth of 4.0% on June 2014.

Meanwhile, there were 529,303 Global Average Daily Unique Visitors to the iPhone App last month, an increase of 12.7% year-on-year.
