The publishers say: There were 45,933,424 Global Video Views last month, representing growth of 16.4% on April 2014, and an increase of 81.4% year-on-year.
This means there was also a record number of average Daily Global Video Views in May 2014. There was an average of 1,481,723 Video Views every day last month, a 12.7% increase on April 2014.
The MailOnline also recorded its best ever day for Global Video Views on the 21st May 2014. The website recorded 3.42 million Global Video Views in a single day, more than one million Video Views higher than any other day ever.
The MailOnline recorded 172.3 million Global Monthly Unique Visitors last month, representing an increase of 3.8% on April 2014, and a year-on-year rise of 34.0%. There were 172,335,392 Global Monthly Unique Visitors across its website and apps in May 2014, meaning there were an additional 43.7 million browsers compared with May 2013.
The MailOnline also recorded 11,000,163 Global Average Daily Unique Visitors in May 2014, representing monthly growth of 0.8%, and a 33.6% increase year-on-year.
In the UK, there were 4,715,474 average Daily Unique Visitors last month. This represents a 2.6% increase on April 2014, and growth of 31.6% on May 2013.
The MailOnline recorded 56.5 million Monthly Unique Visitors in the UK in May 2014. There were 56,538,478 browsers to the website and apps in the UK last month, representing month-on-month growth of 6.6%.
The MailOnline’s iPhone and Android Apps both achieved new Global Monthly Unique Visitor records in May 2014.
There were 1,097,603 Global Monthly Unique Visitors to the iPhone App in May 2014, which is 2.1% higher than the previous record achieved in April, while there were 839,262 Global Monthly Unique Visitors on the Android App last month, a 2.0% increase on the previous record, also achieved in April 2014.
The Android App also recorded its best ever month for Global Average Daily Unique Visitors in May 2014. There were 360,612 Unique Visitors each day on average last month, a 75.5% increase year-on-year.
