“Media Port” Events at World Publishing Expo: Content, Revenue and Print

Content. Revenue. The Power of Print. Those are the topics for the three “Media Port” presentation stages that will be embedded in the World Publishing Expo, the global trade exhibition for the news publishing and media industry to be held in Amsterdam from 13 to 15 October next.

With topics as diverse as “Paywall 2.0,” “Digital Printing,” “Responsive Design,” “Video: Monetisation,” “Content Management: Tools & Efficiency” and much more, the free Media Port presentations offer participants a wide range of added value during their visits, says WAN-IFRA.

The World Publishing Expo (formerly IFRA Expo and Conference), organised by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), will offer more than 300 exhibitors during the three-day annual gathering, as well as 100 speakers and presenters in both free and paid-for events.

The free ‘Media Port’ events, to be held on three stages scattered throughout the Expo, will feature collaborations between publishers and suppliers and provide case studies of what can help publishers now. The paid events – the 13th International Newsroom Summit, the 7th Tablet and App Summit, and the first World Printers Forum – are for top-level industry executives and editors and will discuss strategies for the future of news publishing.
