RadioTimes.com records 51.1% growth

RadioTimes.com, the television and radio news and listings site, has witnessed a 51.1% year on year growth between May 2013 and May 2014, with 3.71 million unique visitors coming to the site last month compared to 2.45 million the previous year.

According to publishers, Immediate Media, this growth was accompanied by a 28% year on year increase in page views and sessions, and confirm RadioTimes.com as the UK’s biggest and fastest growing TV listings website (ComScore, April 2014).

Following on from this RadioTimes.com has made a impressive start to June, recording its busiest day in its 17 year history on Tuesday (4 June) with more than 450,000 users visiting the site in 24 hours, smashing the previous record of 338,000 set on 1 January 2014. This represents a 196% increase on the same day in 2013.

Since becoming part of Immediate Media Co in November 2011, there has been an increased investment in Radio Times’ digital portfolio: including a redesign of the site; an increased focus in TV, radio and entertainment news and content, alongside comprehensive TV and radio listings; and an enlarged editorial team. The RadioTimes Discover TV iPad App, was launched in November 2014 providing TV-viewing inspiration to a new audience of dual screeners. The app was featured on the Apple App Store as one of the ‘best new apps’ in the market and currently it has a four star rating.
