Stuart Forrest appointed Digital Publisher at Radio Times

Immediate Media Co has announced the appointment of Stuart Forrest as Digital Publisher working initially on Radio Times’ digital portfolio.

Previously Publishing Director at Haymarket Consumer Media, working across their motoring and leisure brands, including PistonHeads.com, Stuart has had over 18 years’ experience in the publishing industry. Most recently Stuart launched his own digital strategy consultancy, with clients including IPC Media and Mumsnet.com.

Kathy Day, Managing Director Radio Times, says: “We are delighted to have someone of Stuart’s calibre, expertise and experience join Immediate Media. Radio Times digital is going from strength to strength, and I very much look forward to working with Stuart to take it to even greater heights.”

Stuart will work across Radio Times digital portfolio, including RadioTimes.com, iPad app DiscoverTV, and the recently launched digital edition of Radio Times, currently available on Apple Newsstand.

According to Immediate Media, Radio Times digital portfolio has had a hugely successful 2014: RadioTimes.com has had record breaking visitor traffic, with over 4.5m unique users in August up 65% year on year, and received two awards at the 2104 Online Media Awards; whilst DiscoverTV has also won AOP and PPA awards this year.
