On 9th June, Time Inc, one of the largest branded media companies in the world reaching more than 130 million people globally each month across multiple platforms, rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange and a new registrant with the symbol TIME started trading.
Time Inc once again became an independent public company - the first time since January 1990 when the company merged with Warner Communications. Time Inc’s press release stated “This great step forward will allow Time Inc to focus all attention on Time Inc specific interests and execute a holistic strategy geared towards continuing Time Inc’s leading role in the publishing industry through innovation, quality, and scale.”
This strategy naturally includes Time Inc’s domestic and international fulfilment divisions. To mark the occasion, the international fulfilment division, formerly known as TW4, is now trading under the name of TIIFS (Time Inc. International Fulfilment Services). TIIFS, supported by its network of strategically located international offices, will continue to provide global and local fulfilment services for its internal and external clients, together with US based partner TCS (Time Customer Service Inc).
