Alice Casely-Hayford appointed Digital Editor of Vogue

Alice Casely-Hayford has been appointed Digital Editor of British Vogue it was announced yesterday by Edward Enninful, Editor-in-Chief.

Alice will take up her new position on 5th March 2018.

Alice joins Vogue from Refinery 29, where she has been Fashion & Beauty Director and helped launch the brand in the UK in 2015. Prior to this she worked across both digital and print at titles including Hunger Magazine, Huffington Post, MTV Style International and POP.

“Alice brings with her a wealth of experience and ideas and I’m hugely excited to have her on board to help evolve our digital offer,” commented Enninful.

I look forward to growing Vogue's presence across all digital platforms, working with the international Vogue teams and expanding on the site's current successes.”

Vogue.co.uk launched in 1996, and has a fully responsive site design across all devices. The site has won a number of awards including most recently, Bronze for the Best Website for Fashion & Beauty in the Lovie Awards 2017, Best Use of Instagram at the Digiday Publishing Awards Europe 2017, and Young Director Awards for Vogue Video’s ‘Alexa on Alexa’ Film at the Cannes Lions Festival 2017.

According to Conde Nast, British Vogue currently has 2,793,233 unique users to the website which includes Vogue Video (Google analytics Nov 2017-Jan 2018). The brand also has more than 12 million followers across social media.

Vogue has also announced that Katie Berrington has been promoted to Associate Digital Editor of Vogue. The other members of the digital team are Lisa Niven, Beauty and Health Editor; Alice Newbold, Vogue Daily Editor; Naomi Pike, Miss Vogue Editor and Social Media Manager; Alyson Lowe, Engagement Manager; Parveen Narowalia, Associate Digital Picture Editor; Lauren Dudley, Junior Digital Picture Editor; and Minnie Carver, Video Producer.
