Simon Lewis: “I’d like to thank Keith Coomber of Prime Impact for making this such a positive process, and one that I believe will strongly build on the foundations he laid with Prime Impact’s brands.”

According to the publisher, the two consumer titles will be merged into Anthem’s Vegan Food & Living to create a stronger magazine and website to serve the vegan community, while the company has plans to expand and develop Vegan Trade Journal.

The acquisition, the publisher continued, consolidates Anthem’s position in the UK vegan media market reaching over 2 million people every month, with a UK vegan consumer website veganfoodandliving.com, vegan magazine Vegan Food & Living, three weekly newsletters, a new library of vegan recipes, the Simply Vegan Podcast and now a vegan B2B brand.

Prime Impact retains ownership of Vegan Life Live events alongside its Om Yoga magazine, OM Yoga show and Mind Body Soul Events.

Speaking about the acquisition, Anthem MD Simon Lewis said: “We’re absolutely delighted to complete this purchase. It adds engaged new audiences and quality recipe content to Vegan Food & Living. In addition, it enables us to better serve the UK vegan business sector with the Vegan Trade Journal.

“On a personal note, I’m excited about the opportunities that bringing the brands together will create, significantly increasing our audience and most importantly helping fulfill our mission to make learning about, and hopefully eventually adopting, a vegan lifestyle easier for more and more people.
