Archant announces Lorna Willis as new CEO
Lorna Willis: “I have been passionate about regional media since childhood.”

Lorna has been with the company for 11 years and, over that time, has worked and led several functions within the business. In 2018, she was appointed to the Archant Executive team with the responsibility of setting up the Digital, Data and Insight team and since February 2019 she has been the Chief Client Officer with responsibility for all customer revenues.

Lorna started her career at the Financial Times within its commercial function and was also the Sales and Sponsorship Manager for the Guardian News and Media Group.

Lorna said: “I am truly excited to be given this opportunity to lead the business at this most exciting time. I have been passionate about regional media since childhood and the recent global events have really shown its unique ability both to inspire readers and local communities and to help local businesses grow and achieve their aims. I am looking forward to continue to work with a team of highly passionate and talented staff and to continue the transformation of Archant to more than a publisher and more than an agency.”

Also announced was that Nick Steven-Jones, currently Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer alongside his Chief Financial Officer position. Nick has considerable experience across the business both operationally and financially and will be working alongside Lorna to drive Archant forward, says the company.
