Archant launches global luxury property magazine

Archant has expanded its media portfolio by launching International Prime Properties, a new quarterly global luxury property magazine.

Dedicated to showcasing the finest properties around the world, International Prime Properties has been launched off the back of the media owner’s Innovation Fund initiative.

The programme, which launched last year, invites employees to propose new business ideas for Archant through a pitching process. Archant has committed funding for the best ideas, giving the employees behind the proposal the opportunity to bring their vision to life.

The brains behind International Prime Properties were Karen Tait and Sue Crwys-Williams, with the employees taking up the roles of Editor and Group Sales Manager respectively. The team will be taking the new product to LPS Beijing – the world’s biggest luxury property event – and the first issue will go on sale from the end of April, coinciding with the opening of this year’s Innovation Fund, with Archant beginning a call for ideas via a minisite.

Jeff Henry, CEO, Archant: “Our ongoing investment in staff is second to none and I’m really proud to see Karen and Sue’s idea come to fruition. The Innovation Fund is a unique proposition that ensures we are giving our talented team a voice across the business and International Prime Properties is a great example of how the process can work successfully to build an impressive product. I look forward to seeing this year’s entries, showcasing Archant’s creativity.”

Archant will be distributing 40,000 copies of International Prime Properties across a range of locations including First Class airport lounges, five star hotels, hospitality boxes at sporting events, premium London shops including Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, and luxury estate agents. In addition, copies will be distributed free with its sister, upmarket county magazines Cheshire Life, Sussex Life, Surrey Life and Hertfordshire Life, as well as in Marks & Spencer and Waitrose, and at Archant’s French Property Shows at Olympia, London and Wetherby, Yorkshire. The first advertisers of the new publication will be the bespoke and confidential property search service, Leggett, and French bank, Britline, as the title looks to engage affluent UK-based readers looking for new property investments.

The title will consist of expert advice, helping readers make informed decisions on some of the most stunning living environments in the world, as well as showcasing the properties themselves, says Archant.

Jeff Henry added: “We believe there is a gap in the current magazine media market which International Prime Properties will fill, giving readers access to a wealth of information on the international property industry. With its best in class quality content, plus the highly targeted distribution plan, the team have created a valuable product for consumers, giving advertisers access to a passionate and affluent audience.”
