Atex announces new HQ

Atex has consolidated its UK offices into a new global headquarters in Reading.

The company has moved into ‘Advantage’, one of Reading’s greenest buildings, in a move which supports both the recent and anticipated expansion of the organisation, while also providing a stronger head office facility.

The iconic building on Castle Street, previously occupied by CitiFinancial, has been extensively refurbished, providing modern office space and giving it an ‘excellent’ rating in the BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) standard.

Jim Rose, Atex Group CEO, comments: “Atex has a modern and forward-thinking ethos and approach, which is reflected in our choice of headquarters. Advantage is a perfect fit, in the centre of the UK’s hub for technology businesses, and marks an exciting new era for the company.

“As a global, industry leading organisation, it’s important for us to have a global HQ synonymous with this, where we can invite our customers from across the globe and where our employees feel proud to work. Our new facility supports our rapid projected growth over the next few years, providing a modern workspace and better reflecting the business that we are today.”

Atex was previously headquartered in Green Park, Reading, and has sales offices in London and Latimer, Buckinghamshire.
