Atex has announced the integration of Unsplash image searches into the authoring environment of Atex Desk.

Atex unveils Unsplash integration
Alberto Mari: “By partnering with Unsplash, we are able to offer our customers easy and free access to one of the most complete and outstanding image libraries available.”

Unsplash has been cited as one of the world's leading photography websites, with over 1 million free high-resolution images. Unsplash launched in May "Unsplash for Media", a powerful new way for media organisations, both big and small, to access the library for free.

Atex has now announced the integration of Atex Desk with Unsplash.

Desk, Atex's content management solutions for newspaper and magazine companies, works to gather content, manage assets, coordinate content production and publishing workflows. By integrating with Unsplash, journalists working with Desk now have access to the entire Unsplash library, making it easier to find the perfect visuals to accompany their articles.

Writing a story and looking for the right image is a common challenge for journalists. Now, without leaving the authoring environment, an editor has immediate access to the whole Unsplash library. Finding the right picture and using it in an article requires just a few clicks, says Atex.

Alberto Mari, business development manager for Atex Europe, commented on the initiative: “The best way to stand out from the crowd is through exceptional design and publishing content with consistent quality. By partnering with Unsplash, we are able to offer our customers easy and free access to one of the most complete and outstanding image libraries available.”
