Bauer Media’s New Adventure: A Cultural Creative Agency

Bauer Media is launching Adventure, a cultural creative agency, with the capabilities to create, produce and deliver campaigns with deep cultural resonance for brands, says the company.

According to Bauer Media, Adventure will have complete freedom across its editorial and commercial teams to work with brands and agencies, harnessing the talent of Bauer Media's extensive roster of experts in popular culture, content and marketing.

Adventure will be led by Lucy Banks, Bauer’s Executive Creative Director. She will be supported by a team that includes: Paul Fulberg, who has held positions at Grey, CORD Worldwide and FRUKT, who joins as Business Strategy Director; Richard Moore, previously Head of Content at Microsoft Advertising, who joins as Digital Content Director; and Ravi Beeharry and Andy Mancuso who join as award-winning Creative Directors with over 15 years’ experience in blue chip advertising agencies.

Paul Keenan, CEO, Bauer Media UK, said: "Adventure will offer our commercial partners innovative and bespoke communication and marketing solutions adding further depth to our creative offer. The combination of this focused talent and the insight and creativity across our business, along with the quality and influence of our brands makes for a highly potent mix, and will enable brands to make good things happen."

The Adventure team will enable like-minded partners to harness the complete range of talent within the Bauer Media UK business to powerfully engage with its 22 million consumers, also providing the opportunity to deliver campaign activity outside the Bauer Media portfolio, says Bauer.

The launch of Adventure follows successes with brands including O2, Cancer Research UK, Channel 4, Matalan, Microsoft and GOV.UK’s Business Innovation and Skills department, where campaigns have achieved impact and success beyond traditional advertising, through a combination of insight, creativity and execution. Current clients include Telefonica UK, HRA- Pharma (EllaOne), Tommy’s and Lifetime/A+E Networks UK.

Richard Dunmall, Group MD Advertising, Bauer Media UK said: “Adventure will work closely with clients with insight-based decision-making, giving brands first hand access to editorial talent as they engage 24/7 with audiences to gain a deep understanding of their media habits and interests.”

Lucy Banks, Executive Creative Director, Bauer Media UK, said: "I am hugely excited to be leading our business on this new venture. I have always been blown away by the breadth and depth of creative talent within our business and strength of engagement we have with UK consumers. Adventure is here for partners looking to achieve a meaningful connection with an audience, staying true to the agency’s ethos of beginning with and becoming what people are genuinely interested in."
