Centaur strengthens management at MarketMakers and Oystercatchers

Centaur Media this week announced two senior appointments at Xeim, the group's portfolio of marketing brands.

Jude Bridge has joined as managing partner of Oystercatchers, Xeim’s marketing consultancy and networking business, and Darren McGill will join MarketMakers, its B2B telemarketing agency, as managing director from 2 January 2020.

Jude, formerly marketing and communications director at Marks & Spencer and Save the Children UK, brings powerful expertise in building brands and driving business growth at some of the UK's most iconic brands. Her previous experience includes a spell as global brand and marketing director at Mothercare.

She was responsible for a number of award-winning campaigns, including the 'Your M&S' campaign which won the IPA Grand Prix for effectiveness, and Save the Children's 'No Child Born to Die' campaign, which was awarded the Thinkbox Grand Prix. As well as becoming managing partner of Oystercatchers, Jude will develop and lead a marketing excellence programme across Xeim, driving effective market segmentation and ensuring best-in-class marketing practice, says Centaur.

Darren has a wealth of experience in senior management and commercial roles, most recently as chief revenue officer at Signal Al, a media information business. Previously, he was international commercial director and general manager at WGSN, the fashion information business. In both roles, he successfully led the growth of sales and profits. Darren will develop and lead a sales excellence initiative across Xeim to improve customer retention and sales productivity and to drive profitable revenue growth.
