Classic Car Weekly appoints new editor

Bauer Media has appointed Dave Richards as the new Editor of Classic Car Weekly.

Dave Richards is one of the most influential and well respected journalists in the classic car field, having worked across numerous titles including Classic & Sports Car.

Classic Car Weekly was originally launched in 1990, returning to the fold at Bauer Media earlier this year, after being licensed for seven years.

Ed Kenyon, Managing Director, Consumer Cars, Bauer Media (specialist) comments: “It is great to have Dave on board and I know that he brings an exciting vision for Classic Car Weekly which will be relevant across the entire classic car movement.”

“Dave will complement the existing team superbly and he and deputy Editor Ian Seabrook, Editor-at-Large Richard Gunn and Editorial Director Mike Nicks will be refreshing the title as we head in to summer 2010.  Dave’s appointment provides even greater momentum in what is an exciting chapter for our classics motoring portfolio.”

Dave Richards comments: “I’m passionate about bringing the weekly window on the classic car world to enthusiasts, dealers and classic car clubs. The potential of the classic market is huge, and still expanding.”
