Following a review of its client services and new business teams, COMAG has announced the following appointments, effective 1 August:

* Peter Hilton is promoted to the new position of Head of Client Relations

* Jonathan Marsh will expand his role as Head of Business Development to incorporate COMAG Forward

* Karen Donohoe and Robert Smith are promoted to the role of Group Account Manager

Currently a Group Account Manager, Peter Hilton has been promoted to the new role of Head of Client Relations, in which he will manage the Client Relations department and help the team in the development of publishers’ portfolios. Peter has worked at COMAG since 2003 and been Group Account Manager since 2011, say the company.

Saying he is looking forward to the new challenge, Peter added: I look forward to building on the excellent work and dedication of the Client Relations department and delivering to our clients the best possible service to develop their brands and commercial performance.

Currently Account Development Managers, Karen Donohoe and Robert Smith have been promoted to Group Account Manager, each responsible for a team of Account Managers.

At the same time, Jonathan Marsh, Head of Business Development at COMAG, will expand his role to include COMAG Forward. Looking to co-ordinate the Group’s service offer, Jonathan will build on existing synergies between the different parts of the business to create a single point of contact for all development initiatives and opportunities. Jonathan has worked at COMAG since 2006, initially as Channel Manager in the Retail Team and has been Head of Business Development since 2013.

Speaking of his new responsibilities, Jonathan said: I am really looking forward to this new and exciting opportunity. In the last two years I have extended my network of publishing contacts and I’m optimistic that in taking on the challenge of Business Development for COMAG Forward I can use this experience to benefit both COMAG and our clients.

Announcing the departmental changes, Duncan Ambler, COMAG’s Account Director said: I believe the new structure of the department better matches the team’s skills to their new roles and will help us focus on our key business priorities now and for the future.
