Condé Nast appoints Programmatic Sales Director

Malcolm Attwells has been appointed Programmatic Sales Director of Condé Nast Digital.

Responsible for leading all programmatic sales initiatives, the role will include the generation of advertising revenue through the ad exchange environment and building relationships with key agency trading desks. Working closely with Terry Hornsby, Head of Advertising and Programmatic Operations, he will develop Condé Nast Digital’s programmatic proposition, and begin to harness the audience data that will allow us to better serve the targeting demands of our advertisers, says Condé Nast.

Malcolm joined Condé Nast Digital in January 2014 as Acting Head of Trading. Prior to this, he was Commercial Director at Glam Media, working across all facets of the digital business and launching their programmatic offering in the UK.

He has also worked for Microsoft and Warner Brothers as their media specialist EMEA for the International TV Division concentrating on Digital AVOD, SVOD, and Broadcast TV.

Jamie Jouning, Publishing Director of Glamour and previously Director of Condé Nast Digital, commented, “Malcolm is a very experienced and talented executive and we are thrilled that he has agreed to join the company on a permanent basis and to lead our sales efforts in this important and fast moving arena.”

Malcolm Attwells adds, “I am really excited to be able to work across all of the Condé Nast brands and take them into this new area within the digital business.”

Malcolm will continue in his current capacity and perform dual roles until Nicola Bartlett, Head of Trading, returns from maternity leave.
