Daily Mirror to publish free Christmas e-edition

The Daily Mirror will publish a free e-edition on Christmas Day, targeting those receiving tablets as gifts.

Thursday’s e-edition – the Mirror’s biggest Christmas e-edition to date - will look back at the best of news, sport and pictures in 2014, and include a four-page interactive puzzle section and Christmas themed family quiz.

A 55-page ‘We Love TV’ magazine is also available as part of the edition, showcasing the best features of the app.

Kelly-Ann Kiernan, Editor of the Mirror’s e-editions, said: “We've made great strides with our e-edition this year, and our festive edition will be a celebration of that.

“We hope new and regular readers will enjoy our offering.”

The Daily Mirror’s e-edition is currently free to download from iTunes, and onto Android and Kindle tablets. Subscribers receive every weekday edition, Monday through Friday, at no charge.

Additionally, the weekend editions (Saturday and Sunday) are available with a free one month trial, after which the subscription is £3.99/month.
