Dennis Publishing launches Viz Profanisaurus App

Dennis Publishing can announce the launch of the new Viz Profanisaurus Das Krapital app, bringing over 12,000 degenerate definitions to your smartphone.

According to Dennis: “Profanisaurus definitions are perfect bite sized pieces of hilarious crudity to liven up dull moments. Cross-linked entries enable you to finally make sense of what a sleeping fruit bat is and why you’d never want to mention knuckle glitter in polite company. The new app also allows you to browse profanities by topics ranging from anatomy to popular celebrities, plus you can enliven your Twitter and Facebook life with the full folly and crudity of Roger’s largest Profanisaurus yet.

This app is the first to be produced by Dennis’ newly created in-house mobile app development team, Dennis Media Factory. The team features iOS and Android specialists, allowing Dennis to launch the new Profanisaurus app simultaneously on iPhone/iPod touch and Android phones. A version for Symbian powered Nokia phones will follow shortly afterwards, developed by Future Platforms, known for their work on this year’s Official Glastonbury app.

Russell Blackman, Publishing Director at Dennis Publishing said, “The all new Profanisaurus app has been completely rebuilt, with a brand new design and tons of new content from the best selling Das Krapital book.  The app’s brilliant design allows you to fill dull moments with funny profanities from the crudest mag in the business, or to search and quickly grab the right word – and then easily post it to Facebook or Twitter.  The entries are crossed-linked so that next time your mate complains about a magician’s hankie, you’ll know what he’s on about.”

Roger’s Profanisaurus Das Krapital app is now available for download from the iOS App Store and the Android Market, priced at £1.49.”
