Dorling Kindersley’s delicious book deal

Dorling Kindersley has announced a new publishing partnership with one of the UK’s leading cookery magazines delicious. The two book deal was brokered by DK’s Stephanie Jackson, Luigi Bonomi of LBA, and Seamus Geoghegan of delicious. Magazine.

The first title The delicious. Cookbook is due to publish in October 2009.

The delicious. Cookbook (304 pages, £20.00) will feature more than 365 mouthwatering recipes from the archive of the successful cookery magazine, and will also include tips and techniques on everything from ingredients and kitchen equipment to wine accompaniments.  Matthew Drennan, editor of delicious. will be editor-in-chief of the new DK book, and he says “Over the past six years the delicious. brand has continued to go from strength to strength with the launch of deliciousmagazine.co.uk two years ago and now the icing on the cake, joining forces with one of the UK’s most respected publishers”.

DK’s Special Projects Publisher Stephanie Jackson says of the acquisition, “I’m thrilled because delicious. is the fastest growing consumer food magazine in the UK, full of fantastic recipes and inspiring photography, with something for everyone whether they’re busy mums or aspiring chefs. The second delicious. book is due for publication by DK in October 2010.
