Derek Milne: "We’re excited to see just how creative the Claro customers get with this new functionality."

The new version blends powerful new features and artificial intelligence to produce an application for the next generation of image toning requirements, says Elpical.

Claro is used by all forms of image publishers around the globe, including newspapers, magazines, retailers, brand owners, photobooks and agencies.

According to Elpical, Claro V12 expands to three core engines:

  1. ENHANCE – Extensive new image processing operations and improved functionalities makes the image look better, automatically
  2. VISION – Integrates Google's Vision AI engine providing extensive image understanding, automated metadata creation and image specific toning capabilities
  3. REMOVE - Blends Remove.bg’s background removal technology into Claro workflows creating accurate, editable cutouts and clipping paths in seconds

Derek Milne, sales and marketing manager at Elpical Software said: "From the start, we wanted Claro V12 to be a stand out application. To truly make a difference for publishers wanting to get the most from their images across all channels and as automated as possible. Combining our own technologies with two industry standard AI engines has realised this potential and more. We’re excited to see just how creative the Claro customers get with this new functionality."
