ESI Media streamed Sky’s Curfew
Jon O’Donnell: "It’s hugely innovative that Sky should choose a publisher to premiere its new drama."

The show, which stars Sean Bean (Broken, Game of Thrones), Adrian Lester (Riviera, Hustle), Phoebe Fox (Blue Iguana, Intrigo: Samaria), and Malachi Kirby (Black Mirror, Roots), was available across both the Evening Standard’s and the Independent’s digital channels on Friday.

From 12pm, visitors to Standard.co.uk and Independent.co.uk had exclusive free access to the show, nine hours ahead of general release. The streaming took place on bespoke transmission pages on both sites until broadcast on Sky One at 9pm.

The campaign, brokered by MediaCom, also included a supplement in the Evening Standard newspaper on Friday 22nd featuring exclusive interviews with cast members.

Curfew is an eight-part Sky Original Production, from Tiger Aspect Productions in association with Moonage Pictures, and follows the story of ordinary people competing in the world’s fastest, most furious, illegal night-time street race.

Jon O’Donnell, Managing Director, Commercial at ESI Media, said, “It’s hugely innovative that Sky should choose a publisher to premiere its new drama Curfew, and the fact it chose to do so with ESI Media is testament to the great relationship we have with Sky and MediaCom. It just illustrates the breadth of content readers come to enjoy on our Evening Standard and Independent platforms.”
