Euromoney appoints two Independent Non-Executive Directors

Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC on Friday announced the appointments of Imogen Joss and Lorna Tilbian as independent non-executive directors.

Ms Joss currently holds non-executive director roles at Grant Thornton, the International Property Securities Exchange (IPSX), and Gresham Technologies plc. She chairs the remuneration committees of IPSX and Gresham Technologies plc. Ms Joss has held a number of senior executive positions and served as the President of S&P Global Platts Inc., prior to which she was President at S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Ms Tilbian has had a distinguished career as a top ranked media analyst and is currently Head of the Media Sector at Numis Corporation Plc (Numis), a position she is leaving in December after joining Numis in 2001 and serving as a main board director since 2005. Ms Tilbian has served as a Cabinet Ambassador for Creative Britain for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Ms Tilbian is also currently a non-executive director at Jupiter UK Growth Investment Trust PLC, ProVen VCT plc and Finsbury Growth & Income Trust PLC.

Commenting on today's announcement John Botts, non-executive chairman of Euromoney, said: “We are very pleased to have attracted non-executive directors of the calibre of Imogen and Lorna to join our Board. On her appointment, Imogen Joss said: “I am delighted to join Euromoney at this exciting time in its development. I look forward to working with the rest of the Board and the management team to continue implementing the strategy.”

On her appointment, Lorna Tilbian said: “I have followed Euromoney closely throughout my career in the media sector and this is a rare opportunity to join the Board of an established media company which is thriving in a digital environment. I am excited to be joining and look forward to helping the company continue its success.”

Ms Joss will join the Board with immediate effect and will also join the Remuneration Committee. Ms Tilbian will join the Board with effect from 1 January 2018.
