Event launches new website

Event magazine has re-launched its website, eventmagazine.co.uk, with a raft of new channels and features.

The new look site has been redesigned and reshaped to be more interactive, easier to navigate and provide an improved visitor journey.

According to publishers Haymarket, the site is mobile-friendly, meaning all articles on eventmagazine.co.uk accessed by a mobile device will be automatically reshaped to fit the screen, making it easier to read or comment on stories.

The new look homepage provides a taster of what readers can expect, including the ever-expanding Event TV, breaking news and online-only features.

A specific channel that showcases Event's live portfolio has been created, while those looking to keep up to date on the industry's role in the Olympics can head to the dedicated Games channel.

Among the other new features are pages dedicated to festivals, exhibitions, product launches and hospitality. The galleries channel provides a colourful collection of the many event photo albums Event publish each week.

The blogs channel has also been revamped and packed with new content from industry bods keen to provide comment and opinions on the entire sector goings on.
