First Mailing invests in eco-friendly paper wrapping solution

First Mailing has invested in the latest environmentally friendly direct mailing solution, paper wrapping.

First Mailing invests in eco-friendly paper wrapping solution
Stuart Searle: “This premium solution sits alongside our other environmentally friendly mail services.”

As an early adopter, says the company, First Mailing joins only a few other service providers in the UK delivering this premium product which boasts eco-credentials.

Paper wrapping is designed to make an impact and trigger interaction, says First Mailing. With the ability to produce up to 10,000 mail packs an hour, the solution offers external advertising space for the products contained within the pack enabling publishers, retailers, travel agents and more, to deliver their messaging before their customers even open the pack.

It is a cost-effective alternative to polywrapping which delivers professional, quality direct mail results. Its popularity is also thanks to the added benefit that, not only is the wrapping recyclable, but the paper is from a sustainable source. In an age when sustainability is such a priority, recipients of mail packs, such as magazine subscriptions, have come to expect publishers to be environmentally conscious.

First Mailing’s managing director, Stuart Searle, said: “We are delighted to now offer paper wrapping as a direct mail solution to our customers. This premium solution sits alongside our other environmentally friendly mail services, including envelope inserting, one piece and naked mailers. We strive to invest wisely to meet the demands of our customers and I am proud that our latest investment complements our other eco-friendly solutions.”

First Mailing is a family-run business established in 1998. From its purpose-built facility and storage sites in Huntingdon, First Mailing delivers mailing and fulfilment services to a wide range of industry sectors through the UK and Europe.
