First News moves schools’ subscriptions to ESco

On the week that First News celebrate their 10th anniversary, ESco has announced that it’s now handling subscriptions to their schools’ scheme.

First News is a weekly newspaper for young people and claims to be read by two million children every week.

ESco will be handling the complex subscriptions for schools where teachers can choose to take out various bundle options to use the newspaper as a teaching resource within the classroom environment.

Alistair Wood, Operations and Development Director at ESco said: “We will be using our expertise in intricate subscription packages and system integrations to facilitate their business model and help to take their subscription offering to the next level.”

“We are also pleased to be involved in the launch of the First News iHub, a unique digital tool that uses news and current affairs to boost literacy and learning.”

“We’ve enjoyed working with the First News team so far during the conversion process and are looking forward to helping them grow their exciting newspaper now that we’re up and running.”
