We always knew this magazine would be a winner and we were delighted with our debut ABC figure of 91,011 for the first half of the year. Sales have continued to increase throughout 2015 and Frozen is the No 1 magazine in the children’s market. This is the perfect time to increase our publishing to 17 issues a year and give young fans even more opportunity to immerse themselves in the Frozen experience through the brilliant stories and activities in the magazine.”

In addition to this, Egmont is publishing a special ‘Christmas Gift Pack’ issue of Frozen magazine, on sale December 2nd 2015.

Egmont says: “This brilliant seasonal treat includes nine dress-up gifts including a magic wand, trinket box, Elsa hair and clip, Anna hair and clip, golden tiara, bracelet, Frozen necklace and two rings. Plus, the Frozen magazine, packed with stories, colourings, puzzles, a Frozen graphic novel, over 80 stickers, a giant poster, Frozen calendar and lots of Frozen prize bundles to win! The magazine and gifts are packaged in a high quality card envelope to make a really special Christmas gift.”

Cally Poplak, Managing Director of Egmont Publishing UK, said: “I am delighted with the performance of our magazine portfolio this year and Frozen is definitely a stand out success. The children’s magazine market continues to be dynamic and competitive, and proves that print products for children are very much in demand. Our consumer insight clearly demonstrates that parents recognise the part magazines can play in encouraging their children to read and that magazines represent an ideal route to reading for pleasure.”
