FT welcomes back ‘fiver’ promotion

The Financial Times has announced the return of its 'Take a Friend for a Fiver' promotion on 16th January.

Following the success of the promotion last year, the FT in association with Harden’s restaurant guide will offer readers a chance to take a friend to a leading restaurant across the country for just five pounds.

Between 16th January and 12th February diners will be able to collect one token in every weekday FT and two in FT Weekend. Over 200 of Britain’s finest restaurants are participating from across the country, including Pied á Terre, 1 Lombard Street, Chez Bruce, Le Café Anglais, Tamarind and many more.

The Financial Times is supporting the offer with print and online advertising throughout the promotional period. A dedicated microsite will also provide readers information on the promotion, participating restaurants and terms and conditions.

Take a Friend for a Fiver applies to both the restaurants’ main menu and any fixed price menu on offer at that time and there is no set number of courses that must be purchased to enjoy the deal. The host pays the menu price and the guest pays just five pounds. For further information please visit www.ft.com/lunch during the promotion launch dates.
