Meale who previously collaborated with House & Garden to create a lavish VIP lounge for Decorex International, is renowned within the industry for her sustainable design, says House & Garden. Her three window designs will be launched on 24th October and run until 17th November starting with “The Entrance Hall” followed by “Fireside” and closing with “The Orangery”.
The windows will guide the customer through an autumnal journey of an aspirational yet unconventional home, filled to the brim with antiques. Combined with the use of natural and reclaimed materials; the concept represents a shift in thinking, offering a series of interiors which reflect our desire for a more sustainable way of life.
Interior designer Victoria Meale comments, “I’m thrilled to have been asked to create a series of windows for Christie’s South Kensington in association with House & Garden – it offers a wonderful opportunity to put antiques in the spotlight in terms of their importance in “sustainable interior design” and also to create three inspirational vignettes which aim to present antiques in a fresh light.”
