House & Garden to open Pop-Up Shop

House & Garden are to open their first ever pop-up shop in London’s Bloomsbury, it was announced yesterday.

An eclectic mix of one-off pieces and carefully curated items will be on sale for a limited time at Pentreath & Hall, from 17th – 30th October, say the publishers Conde Nast.

Gabby Deeming, House & Garden’s Decoration Director and curator of the pop-up commented: “The House & Garden pop up shop is a brilliant opportunity to bring the magazine to life. We’re collaborating with some of our favourite existing designers, showcasing products we love and mixing them up with specially commissioned and unique pieces made just for the shop.”

Hatta Byng, Editor of House & Garden added: “We are excited about the chance to be shopkeepers and Gabby has spent months finding special, pretty, even whimsical things to sell – some of which she has designed herself. If you are yet to make it to Ben Pentreath and Bridie Hall’s Rugby Street shop, you have a treat in store and the House & Garden Pop-up Shop surely gives you an extra incentive to do so.”

Manned by the editorial team themselves, the House & Garden pop-up shop will offer an array of specially curated items, artisanal products as well as one-off designs including hand painted prints, ceramics, furniture, fabric, cushions, paints, bespoke lampshades, lighting, wallpaper and other home furnishings.
