ICLR choose Catalysts for online publishing project

Catalysts Ltd, a specialist publishing systems integrator, has announced its appointment by the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting in England and Wales.

The project was initiated by the ICLR in late 2009 and Catalysts won the contract to build, host and manage an advanced publishing and subscription system. This was conceived to provide ICLR’s Law Reports and Indices online for the benefit of their many legal and academic subscribers. The new site has been successfully trialled by a carefully selected group of potential subscribers and is due to be officially launched in October 2011.

“The selection of a provider was a competitive process and we are delighted to have worked with Catalysts.

They are a leader in their industry and we have worked hand in hand with them on the very complex task of ensuring the 75,000 cases we have published since 1865 are available online, directly to the legal profession. It has been an extremely valuable partnership,” said Kevin Laws, Secretary of ICLR.”

“Working with the team at ICLR during this project has been extremely rewarding for Catalysts. Their requirements drew on the very best of our expertise and knowledge as we integrated a number of technology modules and tuned them to produce the very specific outputs and performance that ICLR were looking for. The results offer ICLR’s subscribers unparalleled speed and relevance of access to The Law Reports and their associated Indices,” said Nigel Phelps (pictured), Managing Director of Catalysts.
