Imagine launches 20 titles on Apple Newsstand

Imagine Publishing has announced the launch of 20 of its premium magazine brands on Apple Newsstand.

Imagine was the first publisher to have its entire magazine portfolio as digital editions on the iPhone and iPad, and today’s launch, in association with PixelMags, means Imagine is once again at the forefront of publishing digital content on the world’s most exciting technology platforms, says the publisher.

Some of the titles included as part of this initial Newsstand launch are: How it Works, Digital Photographer, iCreate, games™, SciFiNow, Photography for Beginners, Retro Gamer, Web Designer, Total 911, Apps Magazine, Play, Photoshop Creative, 3D Artist, X360, Smartphone Essentials, Advanced Photoshop, Digital Artist and Linux User.

Readers of Imagine’s magazines who already subscribe to the company’s individual apps will be able to move their subscription into the Apple Newsstand. Readers can enjoy the benefits of having all their subscriptions organised in one simple location, as well as auto renew subscriptions, which will free them from missing payments that would interrupt the subscriptions service. Apple Newsstand also includes the ability to search and purchase similar titles from Imagine Publishing that readers may not currently subscribe to.

Damian Butt, Group Managing Director, said: “Imagine Publishing was the first multimedia content producer to have its entire portfolio on the iPad on launch day, and I am therefore extremely pleased to see that we are also pioneers of Apple Newsstand. Imagine’s premium quality technology magazines are perfect for this exciting new publishing environment, and thanks to our collaboration with PixelMags, our brands are now perfectly poised to be discovered and enjoyed by a huge potential new audience.”
