Immediate appoints Bristol Specialist Group Ad Director

Immediate Media Co has strengthened its commercial leadership team with the appointment of Mark Reen as Bristol Specialist Group Ad Director.

Mark Reen, most recently interim Commercial Director at The Big Issue, is appointed to the position of Bristol Specialist Ad Director with a remit to drive the commercial strategy of the portfolio.

With a wealth of experience in developing commercial teams to create sustained growth, Mark will take responsibility for a portfolio including Immediate’s Craft brands and other specialist brands including BBC Focus, BBC History, BBC Wildlife, Gardens Illustrated and Homes & Antiques. With a remit to build revenues across all commercial elements of the enlarged Bristol portfolio, Mark will report directly to Immediate Commercial Director Duncan Tickell.

Mark has extensive sales leadership experience across a number of major media groups. He was Global Practice Leader at Ebiquity Media Technology, building and developing international media data and ad technology revenues. He has also been Group Sales Director of the Time Inc UK (formerly IPC) Weeklies portfolio as well as the Group Sales Director of the Fashion, General Interest and Homes Portfolio at Time Inc. UK, as well as roles at Trinity Mirror and Haymarket.
