Immediate Media Co appoints Managing Partner, Branded Content

Immediate Media Co, the special interest content and platform company, has appointed Dean Fitzpatrick as Managing Partner, Branded Content – a new role in the business, underlining Immediate’s ambition to grow its market position in the sector.

With forecasters predicting almost £4 billion of content marketing activity in the coming year, Immediate Media’s Contract Publishing Director Alfie Lewis says: “The content marketing industry is booming – and evolving faster than ever – as branded content programmes, native advertising, creative solutions and social media combine to produce a content wave.”

Dean was most recently Group MD at John Brown Media, helping it become a recognised content marketing leader in the UK and internationally, and with responsibility for clients including Tesco, Orange, Virgin Group and Pets at Home, among others.

He will become Managing Partner, Branded Content at Immediate and work together with Branded Content Director, Julie Williams reporting to Alfie Lewis, with the brief to drive further growth in this area of the business.

Alfie adds: “We have the perfect mix of creative, commercial and technological skills to take advantage of the growing content wave and capture greater market share. I expect substantial growth over the next few years and Dean’s knowledge and experience will focus and fast track our intention. We’re delighted to welcome him on board.”

Dean will also work alongside the wider Immediate team to take full advantage of the creative, commercial and digital expertise within the Group, and the communities and consumer brands at the heart of the business.
