Incisive Media rejoins PPA

Incisive Media, the B2B information and events business, has been welcomed back into the membership of the Professional Publishers Association (PPA).

Founded in 1994 and led by Chairman and Chief Executive Tim Weller, Incisive Media today is a global digital media business. It serves a variety of professional markets through a portfolio of brands that includes Risk.net, Post, Waterstechnology.com, Computing, Investment Week, and Legal Week.

Jonathon Whiteley, Managing Director of Incisive Business, will join the board of PPA Business, the division of the PPA that is dedicated to publishers of business information and is comprised of senior representatives from companies including Centaur Media, EMAP, Reed Business Information, UBM, and William Reed Business Media.

In addition, Victoria Rennie, Incisive Media’s Managing Director, Events, will join the board of PPA Connect, which was set up by the PPA in 2013 as a support network for events professionals.

Barry McIlheney, CEO of the PPA, said: “Incisive Media is a major player among business information providers and we are very pleased that they are taking back their seat at the PPA Business table. I’d like to offer a warm welcome to Tim Weller, his team and all at Incisive Media, and I look forward to their involvement in the PPA over the coming years.”

Tim Weller, Chairman and CEO of Incisive Media, said: “The PPA plays an important role in bringing publishers together; in promoting their interests and defending them on the issues that matter. By re-joining the PPA, we ensure that Incisive Media’s voice is heard, and that we play our part in advancing the dynamic business information sector - a crucial part of the UK’s creative economy.”
