IPC Ignite unveils web traffic analysis

IPC Ignite claims to be the first magazine publisher to report detailed ABCe audited website figures over a six monthly period.

Four of its key brands – NME, Nuts, Loaded and casual games portfolio Mousebreaker – have reported month-by-month analysis of online users which shows the four brands reach a combined audience of over 10.7 million unique users per month.

On average across the period (January-June 09) www.nme.com delivered 4,454,983 monthly unique users. www.nuts.co.uk delivered an average of 1,407,574 monthly unique users. www.loaded.co.uk delivered an average of 316,334 monthly unique users. And the Mousebreaker portfolio of casual games sites delivers a debut ABCe with a monthly average of 4,583,525 unique users.

IPC Ignite managing director Eric Fuller (pictured) says: “These audited results clearly show the scale of the Ignite digital portfolio – delivering over 10.7 million unique users every month. NME in particular reaps the benefit of focused development work in the period – with unique users up by almost one million year-on-year.” (Source: ABCe June 2008 – NME unique users 3,501,326)

Eric adds: “We’re delighted to be the first magazine publisher to report audited website analysis alongside print figures over a six month period. Transparency, accountability and innovation are core elements in our trading philosophy, which is why we are committed to providing our advertisers and media buyers with trustworthy cross platform audited data.”

www.nme.com was named Interactive Consumer Magazine of the Year in the PPA Awards 2009, while Nuts was named PPA Awards Consumer Brand of the Year 2009.

This analysis will be included with print circulation figures in ABC Group Product Reports for each brand, creating an in-depth analysis of brand footprint.
