Knit Today unveils brand new look

Knit Today has revealed a fun and modern new look following a comprehensive cover-to-cover redesign that will see the title appeal to, and cater for, knitters of all levels, sizes and budgets.

Knit Today’s cover design, logo, fonts and colour palettes have all been given a revamp to deliver a fun and friendly feel, while a revised pattern mix plus a new writing style and tone achieve a more warm and inviting read, say the publishers, Immediate Media.

The magazine’s paper stock has also been improved and the format increased to Super A4, resulting in a more substantial product.

Charlotte Morgan, Publisher of Knit Today, commented: “The knitting market continues to be one of great growth and knitters of all levels of experience are looking for modern, stylish patterns to fit their budgets and body types. Knit Today now delivers for this audience and presents the projects in a fun, vibrant, exciting way.”

With more inspirational patterns and projects than ever before all under the new strapline, “for knitters just like you”, the redesigned title will teach the novice and inspire the experts, with a great mix of stylish women’s and men’s clothing, quick knits, home ware and baby projects. Every budget and body type will be catered for with all exclusively commissioned patterns now available in sizes 8-26, and yarn alternatives now included.

In line with consumer demand for better value for money, the magazine will continue to invest heavily in quality covermounts of real use, with the June issue coming with a free tape measure and a 32-page kid’s costume pattern book. The first new-look edition will help readers to get set for summer with patterns for an empire line top, a lace edged t-shirt and a stylish star jumper, plus there are step-by-step guides to knitting a fun flamingo cushion and expert advice on conquering colour work.

The redesigned June issue went on sale on 8 May.
