Lancashire Business View chose YUDU Publisher to help deliver its first ever digital edition, resulting, say the publishers, in its largest readership yet.

Lancashire Business View chooses YUDU for its digital edition
Richard Slater: “It has given us our biggest ever readership.”

The bi-monthly publication, which launched in 2005, has created a coronavirus-led edition, working to keep Lancashire informed during the crisis.

Lancashire Business View’s first ever e-edition can be accessed here. The usual printed magazine has also been produced and distributed.

Lancashire Business View’s online business news service, updated daily, is also providing a daily coronavirus update containing the latest developments and valuable advice, signposting where local businesses can find help.

The magazine’s publisher, Richard Slater, said: “For the last 15 years our job has always been to provide information that our readers can use in their business. That role is now more important than ever. The digital edition that we have produced alongside our regular print product is part of our response to the coronavirus crisis and it has given us our biggest ever readership.”

YUDU Publisher CEO, Richard Stephenson, said: “I am delighted that Richard Slater and his team at Lancashire Business View have moved to digital using YUDU publishing technology. Digital delivery is essential at a time when people are working from home or only partially in the office during this COVID-19 crisis. Most importantly, this is how things will be from now on, this is the new normal.”

Lancashire Business View was named Best Publication at the Prolific North Awards 2019 and runner-up in Best Specialist Publication at the 02 NW Media Awards 2019.
