Launch: Eat Healthy

River has announced the launch of its first owned media - Eat Healthy magazine, which it describes as a new omni-channel brand, spearheaded by a gorgeous new print product.

Eat Healthy is the magazine for people who want to do just that – eat healthy – with maximum taste and variety, minimum time and effort.

Its key focuses of food, health and fitness tap directly into the zeitgeist and have masspirational appeal, says the River Group.

It understands that there are many reasons for wanting to eat healthy: eat healthier versions of the food you love, eat to beat an illness, free from recipes to suit a specialist diet, and weight management – all within the constraints of a busy lifestyle.

Eat Healthy is jam packed, say the publishers, with user-friendly recipes, expert advice articles, bite-sized tips and absorbing reads – in a premium, accessible, value driven, feel good package. Its design is similarly engaging, with an exciting look and feel and easy-to-use format.

Every issue of Eat Healthy comes with four free tear-out-and-keep ‘Cheat Healthy’ recipe cards, giving readers quick and easy meal ideas which require no more than five ingredients.

For its launch issue, Eat Healthy features an eye-catching cover flap, setting out what makes Eat Healthy different and exciting.

River says: “Every issue of Eat Healthy will feature a fabulous gatefold cover. It takes our delicious cover recipe and extends it with accompanying recipes for a meal to share with family or friends. This theme continues on the reverse of the gatefold which shows an extended table with a complementary pudding. For issue one, the reverse of the gatefold also invites readers to join The Eat Healthy Club and features a letter from the editor.”
