There’s a real buzz of excitement at Telegraph Media Group, writes Gavin Hughes, since the launch of its new dedicated fashion and beauty website on Monday 6th September.

The new Telegraph.co.uk/fashion website features our huge range of world-class fashion and beauty content as well as keeping readers up-to-date with the hottest fashion stories from the high street to couture.

It’s fantastic to have award-winning Telegraph experts including Hilary Alexander, Kate Shapland and Justine Picardie on-board who will contribute regularly with their invaluable advice and recommendations on products to inspire our readers. We also have exclusive videos, beautiful galleries, fashion news and features and all the latest catwalk action, plus an exciting ‘Trend-Watch’ weekly newsletter which will give our readers the latest tips on the season’s trends.

Our innovative new carousel feature, which is positioned across the top of the page, showcases the incredible breadth of our editorial content with stunning imagery.

We’re delighted to have launched such a premium fashion product, where content and e-commerce are integrated to benefit our readers. The new and fresh format of Telegraph.co.uk/fashion makes it easy for our readers to directly purchase items they see on the site with simple ‘buy’ and ‘love’ buttons in its groundbreaking I-spied section, which link through to partner sites.

The fashion channel also provides a luxury premium advertising environment with a range of exciting new commercial opportunities, in addition to traditional display formats. We can now offer our clients a dedicated and truly integrated proposition across all platforms both on and offline.

On Monday 6th September, we celebrated the launch of Telegraph.co.uk/fashion in style at One Marylebone. It was great to be able to bring so many people from the fashion world together and to showcase the site to them.

We’re especially proud of Telegraph.co.uk/fashion as it’s been a close collaboration between the editorial, commercial and digital teams here at TMG, in partnership with the digital agency Made by Many. Careful research and planning has gone into designing this site where users are guided from one area of the site to the next in a seamless way. With such a world-class editorial team behind it, we’re confident that visitors to the site will find it to be a hugely interactive and informative experience.

I’m truly thrilled about the launch of Telegraph.co.uk/fashion and I’m really excited to see it develop with the constantly evolving fashion world and go from strength to strength in the future. We have some exciting plans for the site in the coming months, so keep watching!
