Launch: Sea Fishing Magazine

Sea Fishing Magazine, a new 13 times a year title from Blaze Publishing, goes on sale on 10 July, priced £3.40. It is aimed at anyone interested in sea fishing – whether from shore or boat.

According to distributors COMAG Specialist: Aimed at sea anglers of all levels of experience and ability, Sea Fishing Magazine will be essential reading about the popular hobby, full of news, product reviews and interviews with people who can help readers improve their catch-rate and get the most from the sport.

With respected sea fisherman and experienced editor Barney Wright at the helm and a superb team of writers, technicians and competitive anglers, Sea Fishing Magazine will be the only independently published magazine written by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.

Setting itself apart by focusing on what is happening now, every issue of Sea Fishing Magazine will deliver up-to-the-minute reports, practical how-to information and engaging features from the title’s experienced bank of real sea angling experts.

With casting results, tackle tests, tips and tricks in every issue, Sea Fishing Magazine will have anecdotal stories about the team’s experiences, informative reviews, as well as guidance on what to fish, where and when, as well as trade news and product releases.

In addition to these, Sea Fishing Magazine will have a regular travel feature, going to celebrated fishing destinations such as Norway and Iceland, showcasing the best locations for angling holidays and weekend breaks, accompanied by stunning photographs.

The August issue of Sea Fishing Magazine will have a feature on fishing for bream in the English Channel, showing readers where the best places to catch this seasonal visitor.

Also in the launch issue of this new angling title, Sea Fishing Magazine looks at the flat fish, with the best places (plaices?) in the UK to find them, when in the year is best for various species, as well as demonstrating some of the best ways to catch and land them.

The August issue of Sea Fishing Magazine will have articles on catching cod, show some casting tips, while the first of the regular ‘Tackle Talk’ features will have the best rods, reels, rigs, rests and other essential angling kit, whether fishing from shore or boat.
