The launch comes as an independent survey of lawyers titled ‘Are Lawyers Early Adopters?’ reveals that more than three in four lawyers (77 percent) favour digital resources, such as eBooks and online research services, as an addition to their traditional paper-based law libraries.
Available on the LexisNexis UK website for download from anywhere in the world, LexisNexis eBooks bring unique benefits, aiding efficient and accurate research, say the publishers. Users can tailor their eBook to their individual needs by highlighting, annotating and bookmarking key segments. Annotations can be synchronised between devices, eg., between a PC and a smart phone, making for easier retrieval of information while on the go. Readers can navigate their eBook by contents, index, hyperlinks, and keyword search.
LexisNexis is making eBooks available in the standard epub format, which allows compatibility with a wide range of eReader applications and devices including PCs, Macs, dedicated eReader devices, tablets, and smart phones. Once downloaded, LexisNexis eBooks can be accessed without an internet connection.
