Mail on Sunday launch Inspire iPad app

Inspire, the Mail On Sunday’s luxurious biannual fashion magazine, which was published yesterday – just in time for London Fashion Week – has now got a stylish new iPad app.

Inspire magazine is proving a huge success with readers and advertisers alike, despite only being on its third edition, say the publishers. The glamorous supplement, which is created by the award winning team at YOU magazine, is already profitable and over subscribed.

Editor Sue Peart describes the content for the latest issue as ‘unashamedly upmarket’. Fabulous fashion shoots rub shoulders with the pick of the latest on-trend accessories; the Luxe List highlights the season's investment pieces; Front Row reveals the hot-off-the-fashion-press news and beauty specials are showcased with exclusive get-the-look video guides available on the Inspire iPad app. There are back-to-back fashions features – Fatale Attraction and Sassy in the City - while Renew Black demonstrates how to vamp it up 1940s style, with old-fashioned attention to detail. Trend pieces on city sleek, forties glamour, minimal a la mod, drastic fantastic and strictly fetish, along with reviews and recommends on high-end beauty and fragrance products, emphasise how to achieve the key looks of the season.

The latest issue of Inspire has been redesigned and reformatted specially for the Inspire app. Users will be able to read the exclusive content in both landscape and portrait modes. Previous editions will also be available to download.

The sophisticated yet user friendly Inspire app enables advertisers (such as Fendi, Tag Heuer, Elie Saab and Missoni) the opportunity to link directly with readers through video content and their own websites, without leaving the Inspire app environment. The app will be available on iTunes and will run on both the iPad and iPad2.

Marcus Rich, the Mail on Sunday’s Managing Director, commented: “The Inspire app is the perfect complementary environment for our luxury Inspire advertisers. The App allows our readers to deepen their engagement with our advertisers’ campaigns and allows them to visit their websites and see additional product details, without leaving the sumptuous environment of the Inspire app.”
