Mail Plus brings readers tomorrow’s paper, tonight

Mail Newspapers yesterday announced that Mail Plus has become the only UK digital newspaper to offer readers the first edition of the following day’s paper as it rolls off the presses.

The first edition will be delivered to Mail Plus shortly after it goes to print at around 11pm nightly, meaning subscribers will be the first to read tomorrow's newspaper, play tomorrow's puzzles and read what the world will be talking about tomorrow, say the publishers.

Readers will still also receive the usual final edition - which will continue to be delivered overnight to tablets and smartphone. Both editions will be available and, to distinguish between the two, the top of the Mail Plus app’s first page will indicate either ‘11pm’ or ‘Final UK’ edition.

Simon Regan-Edwards, Production Director, Mail Digital Publishing said: “We’re excited to bring Mail Plus subscribers the paper’s agenda-setting content as it goes to print. This is another way for us to bring Mail Plus subscribers even more convenience and choice alongside the editions already available to them across tablet, smartphone and Amazon Echo platforms.”
