Darren Hendley: “We had thousands of archive articles that were imported into the new website and integrated with our other sites.”

The Classic Bike Hub is a central point for motorcycle enthusiasts collating an array of news articles, views, features, photography, videos, and reviews from Mortons’ classic motorcycle magazines: Classic Bike Guide, The Classic Motorcycle, Old Bike Mart, Classic Racer, RealClassic and Classic Dirt Bike.

Mortons have published a collection of motorcycle titles over the years, which meant their archive content was not being utilised in the best way for an engaging and informative experience online, says Better than Paper.

With Better than Paper’s publishing platform, the Classic Bike Hub distributes past and present content with ease across mobile, tablet and desktop.

Darren Hendley, Digital Media Manager, Mortons Media Group, commented: “Based on our previous experience when developing The Railway Hub, we decided to use Better than Paper again for our Classic Bike Hub website and app. We had thousands of archive articles that were imported into the new website and integrated with our other sites.”

“Britain’s leading motorcycle magazine publisher now has the go-to digital destination for thousands of classic motorcycle related images, articles and guides.”

Ashwin Saddul, Managing Director, Better than Paper, said: “I’m delighted to be building on our partnership with one of the longest standing, independent publishers in the UK. Our real-time publishing solution has allowed Mortons to unlock the huge value of their previously inaccessible archived content for their Classic Bike Hub app and website.”

Mortons Media Group produces a range of magazine titles in classic and modern motorcycle areas, scootering, heritage railways and lifestyle. The titles include: Classic Bike Guide, Classic Dirt Bike, Classic Motorcycle Mechanics, The Classic Motorcycle, Classic Racer, Old Bike Mart, Back Street Heros, Scootering, Fast Bikes, Motorcycle Sport & Leisure, MoreBikes and RealClassic.
